During the last 2 years John Swan Limited have been actively sourcing new customers for both Organic Prime Cattle and Sheep, to meet the demand from the large number of Border and Northumberland Farmers turning to organic production.

2007 signals an exciting time for our clients with new outlets in place to handle all classes of Prime Sheep (including Cast Ewes). We continue to move both Prime Cattle and Sheep quickly with minimum waiting time between selection and slaughter. John Swan Limited can provide an efficient and competitive service with minimal deductions and prompt guaranteed payment.

Our St Boswells Mart is now approved by SOPA for the conduction of Store and Breeding Sales of Organic Stock with Wooler Mart currently in the process of certification and this years Autumn Sale dates are confirmed as follows:

St Boswells:
Store Sheep - Thursday 27th September. (Ballot Friday 21st September at 10am)
Thursday 25th October. (Ballot Friday 19th October at 10am)

Store Cattle - Thursday 18th October. (Ballot Friday 12th October at 10am)
Thursday 15th November (Ballot Friday 9th November at 10am)

Wooler:
Store Sheep - Friday 21st September. (Ballot Thursday 13th September at 10am)

Store Cattle - Tuesday 23rd Octber. (Ballot Thursday 18th October at 10am)
